We pray for the repose of the soul of Erlinda Wyatt – we pray especially for Don her husband, her mother and Marie Claire her daughter who will be very upset over this very sad loss.

THE JOY OF LENT :-

Lent is the forty days in preparation for Easter. Lent is sometimes viewed in a difficult way, but we are invited to approach it positively. It is a season where we can deepen our relationship with Jesus Christ and with one another. It is meant to be a time of spiritual renewal and we are challenged to approach it with joy.

INVITED. Lent 2021 –The Mission Begins. :-

Parishioners are encouraged to sign up as it begins on Monday 22nd February. The Diocesan Formation Team is launching a mission for you this Lent. It will be the first of five seasons of mission, helping you to explore God’s Invitation to live your life with him; an opportunity anywhere you are to sit back and reflect on the content provided. Season one is a series of programmes that help us to understand exactly how much we are loved by God. You will then be able to join a virtual conversation. Details: www.abdiocese.org.uk/invited.

All members of the Gift Aid scheme, please note that your boxes of Envelopes for the 2021 / 2022 Tax Year, will be available for collection on the weekends of 6/7 and 13/14 March. PLS do collect them. Kindly join the Gift Aid Scheme (if you are a Tax Payer, the Government will ADD 25p for every pound that you donate); there will be no hassle (no questions about your income).
