Confession is available on Saturday from 9.30 to 10.00 a.m.
and 6.00 to 6.15pm.

THE BLESSED SACRAMENT :-
Saturday After 6:30pm Mass to 8.00pm; Tuesday from 7.15 to 7.45 pm & Friday 10:30am to 12.00 noon.
We are encouraged to spend some minutes with the Lord.


SICK AND HOUSEBOUND :-
Please pray for members of our parish family who are unwell or housebound.


INFORMATION ON THE SICK OR HOUSE BOUND :-
Please give the contacts of the sick and housebound to the priest, so they can be visited and prayed for.



VISIT TO THE HOSPITAL :-
In order to be visited by a catholic chaplain, The ward staff need to be informed about this on admission to the hospital. If you will be on a 'Planned Admission' in the hospital, please inform the Priest to be prayed for.



BIRTHDAY BLESSINGS TODAY FOR JULY:-
As we celebrate and thank God for the gift of life, there will be prayers for those born in July.



FIRST HOLY COMMUNION 2018, CONFIRMATION 2018 & RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults) 2018:-
Registration for these Sacraments will soon begin. Communion: Children who will be in academic Year 3 or above in September 2017. Confirmation: Year 9 or 14 years of age or older by June 2018. RCIA: Adults, from 18 years and above. The First Holy Communion & Confirmation application forms are now available for collection behind the church in the next weeks before the sessions commence in late October. Adults interested in joining RCIA programme to receive the sacraments should see the priest in the parish office.


PARISH REGISTRATION FORMS:-
If you have come to the parish in the last five years or have never completed a parish registration form, please pick and fill the forms at the back of the church and give them to the priest, Barbara Stevens or put them through the letter box in the presbytery at your convenience.


FLOWERS FOR TAKE:-
Arrangements are a being made to remove the flower bed at the church car park entrance. If you are interested in the flowers on the bed, please help yourself.


AYLESFORD FRIARY TRIP:-
This year's pilgrimage to the Friars at Aylesford in Kent will take place on Wednesday 6th September. The coach will leave English Martyrs Church at 9.30 am. We will join in the Mass at 12 noon. After lunch, at about 1.45 pm, we will follow the Rosary walk. We will leave Aylesford at 3:30 pm, to return here at about 4:30 pm. The cost of the trip will be £21 per person, payable beforehand. The coach will carry 29 passengers but we need at least 20 people to cover the cost. If you wish to join us, please sign the list in the porch. MASS FOR DEAF AND HARD OF HEARING:-

BISHOP RICHARD'S PILGRIMAGE:-
Please pray for the Bishop and members of the Diocese as this week they begin the annual Lourdes Pilgrimage. During his time in Lourdes the Bishop will be offering a series of reflections from Lourdes by video. These will be available to view on the Diocesan website.


ROMERO CENTENARY MASS:-

Celebrating 100 years since the birth of Blessed Oscar Romero, 1917-2017 with Mass on Saturday August 12th at 12.30pm in St George's, Cathedral Southwark, London SE1 7HY with Archbishop Peter Smith as Principal Celebrant and homily from Archbishop Vincenzo Paglia, Postulator of Romero's cause in Rome. Refreshments in Amigo Hall afterwards.
